Beverley Minster House is a 5* holiday home lying in the shadow of historic Beverley Minster. This charming, recently restored Grade II listed Georgian town house offers the ideal self catering holiday location from which to explore the attractions and amenities of this picturesque market town, the Yorkshire Wolds and the East Yorkshire coastline.
The 3 storey town house has been renovated to a high standard throughout, combining Georgian charm with modern comfort. It accommodates up to 6 guests with 3 bedrooms, 2 offering the flexibility of super-king or twin beds. There are two bathrooms (1 en-suite) and an en-suite washroom. On the ground floor there is a lounge with period gas fire and a large open plan living/dining area with gas effect log burner, WC, fitted kitchen with integrated Bosch appliances and patio doors leading to a charming secluded courtyard garden overlooking the Minster.
Beverley is one of East Yorkshire's hidden gems and Beverley Minster House is ideally situated in one of the oldest parts of the town, directly opposite the Minster. It is central to the many attractions and amenities, with shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants within a short walk. Guests can easily explore the town's museums, art gallery, theatre, cinema and Georgian Quarter with its charming St Mary's Church.
Beverley is also well known for its racecourse and the variety of festivals, including music, literature and one of the largest 1 day Christmas Markets in the country.
The town also provides an excellent base from which to explore the local area, with a varied expanse of coastline and beaches, fine historic houses, attractive market towns and villages plus Hull, the 2017 UK City of Culture, all accessible for a great day out. The popular cities of York and Lincoln are also an hours drive away.
For walkers, the unspoilt, undulating Yorkshire Wolds offer a variety of opportunities for all abilities and wildlife enthusiasts.
Beverley is easily accessible by road with the M62 and Humber Bridge approximately 10 miles away.
The town's train station is only 300m from Beverley Minster House, with direct trains to and from Sheffield, Doncaster and up the coast to Bridlington and Scarborough. The station at Hull, a 15 min train journey, connects with main lines to York, Manchester, Leeds, London and beyond.
Humberside airport is within an hours drive and Hull Ferry Terminal with connections to Rotterdam is 45 minutes away.
